Euro 2024: Clarke picks Scotland squad

Scotland Head Coach Steve Clarke has today named a 28-man provisional EURO 2024 squad as the excitement builds towards this summer's tournament in Germany.

The squad includes several key players who were part of the Scotland squad that reached the knockout stages of EURO 2020, including captain Andrew Robertson, Kieran Tierney, Scott McTominay, and Che Adams.

There are also a number of new faces in the squad, including young players such as Ben Doak and Liam Kelly. Clarke said he was pleased with the squad he had selected and believes they have the potential to do well in the tournament.

"I'm delighted to name this squad for EURO 2024," Clarke said. "We have a good mix of experience and youth, and I believe we have the quality to compete with the best teams in Europe."

Scotland have been drawn in Group D for the tournament, alongside England, Croatia, and the Czech Republic. They will begin their campaign against the Czech Republic on June 14 in Glasgow.
