The official song for UEFA EURO 2024, "Fire," has been released today by Italian electronic trio Meduza, American band OneRepublic, and German singer-songwriter Leony. The song, which will be performed at the opening ceremony of the tournament, merges house music with pop and rock elements.
"Fire" was written by Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic and produced by Meduza. It features a driving beat, soaring vocals, and lyrics that evoke the passion and excitement of the European Championship. The song has been released with an accompanying music video, which shows the three artists performing in various locations around Europe.
Meduza, OneRepublic, and Leony follow in the footsteps of Enrique Iglesias and David Guetta, who have previously recorded official songs for the UEFA EURO. The tournament will be held in Germany from June 14 to July 14, 2024.
