Boston Takes 2 0 Lead In Nba Finals

Celtics Dominate Mavericks for Game 2 Win

Boston Takes 2-0 Lead in NBA Finals

Jayson Tatum Leads the Way with 29 Points

The Boston Celtics took a commanding 2-0 lead in the NBA Finals on Tuesday night, defeating the Dallas Mavericks 107-89 in Game 2 at American Airlines Arena. Jayson Tatum led the way for Boston with 29 points, while Jaylen Brown added 22 and Marcus Smart had 17.

The Celtics started the game strong, jumping out to a 10-point lead in the first quarter. They continued to control the tempo in the second quarter, and took a 52-42 lead into halftime.

Dallas made a run in the third quarter, cutting the lead to single digits. However, Boston responded with a 10-0 run to take back control of the game. The Celtics cruised to victory in the fourth quarter, holding the Mavericks to just 23 points.

The Celtics' defense was once again stingy, holding the Mavericks to just 35.2% shooting from the field. Dallas also struggled from three-point range, making just 6 of 29 attempts.

The Mavericks will now have to regroup before Game 3 on Thursday night in Boston. They will need to find a way to slow down Boston's offense and generate more points on the other end.

The Celtics, on the other hand, will look to take a commanding 3-0 lead in the series with a win in Game 3. They will be confident in their ability to close out the series at home in Game 4.
